About Kalei Made

Kalei Made (Ka-Lay) is owned and founded by myself, Abby Miyasato, an alumni of Grand Canyon University currently living back in my hometown on Kaua’i, Hawai’i. Kalei is my Hawaiian middle name which means 'Flower garland' or 'the Beloved child.' My name has always had a special meaning to me, so I wanted to incorporate it to the name that represents my brand.

I've always had a love for business, now majoring in business management and website design, I took that drive to further this brand into something more. With picking up new hobbies during the Covid-19 pandemic, I got into making jewelry and selling at local pop-up markets and fundraisers in high school. I turned this hobby into a local jewelry business in 2020 on the island I grew up on, Kaua'i. Featuring creations of everyday jewelry from gemstones, Pikake, Koa wood, and shell jewelry. Kalei Made is all about creativity, not just jewelry. I started off from resin keychains, masks, luggage tags, key wristlets, to get where we're at now. My passion for creativity has led me to share it with others both home and in college. Incorporating Hawaii into my jewelry, helps me best feel at home no matter where I go. Thank you for continuing to support my brand Kalei Made, every ounce of your love and abundance is much appreciated.
